I really enjoy Bannatynes. It's nice to see the improvements finally being made to update the gym. It's been a long time needed. Could probably do with a few more modifications, however it's getting there little by little.
I feel relaxed there and the staff are all helpful and friendly.

I am quite disheartened by my recent experience. I visited to inquire about a gym membership, anticipating assistance in viewing the facilities. When I requested a tour of the gym, the staff member informed me that no one was available to provide such a tour. Consequently, I made the decision not to proceed with the membership. Had she demonstrated a degree of hospitality, I might have considered joining.

Perth Bannatynes very Disappointing
Been a member of this gym for just over 2 weeks know and have already noticed how run down and dirty this place is !
As I was going up to the gym on my second week as a member I noticed that the ceiling was letting water in and causing the carpet to be soaked which was not cornered off with cones to alert members to the slip hazard this was causing
The gym up stairs has 2 or 3 machines not working and one of the water points has seemingly been broken for weeks if not months
Both steam rooms have slimy patches in every corner of the seated slabs
Only one of 2 saunas is actually working which makes it difficult to get in to use this facility, this has been like this since I joined
Both Jacuzzi’s were broken on one of my visits this week and on the next day I came one had been fixed
The water in the pool has been cloudy twice since being a member not sure what this was but the pool area closed one morning because of it
Sometimes the staff at reception welcome you and some ignore you
The showers in the ladies has a long water hose for cleaning down the floors and this is constantly lying about
some of the water grates at the back of the showers are left uneven and could be dangerous
the showers could be doing with some up grading
The bins in the ladies toilet area are always full
One of the single private changing rooms has had the door taken off and a cheep dirty filthy black makeshift curtain put up it’s disgusting and one of the seated areas for changing has a loose wooden bar where you sit
I will say this the classes I have been to are really great fun and I love going to them
This gym has been very disappointing
If you are thinking of joining please ask for a tour as I didn’t
Please try to make the paying customers have a better experience as the whole gym, facilities and staff needs to be reviewed as it seems the fees coming in are more important Than looking after the people who actually keep it running !!!

This place is very dated and sorely needs some investment. The pool is the only real valuable asset but even then, the showers at the pool often have no hot water.

I cancelled my membership long ago, but my kids unfortunately still attend swimming lessons here.

It’s a real shame because they don’t allow you to sit at the pool, and they also don’t allow you to watch the lesson from the seats overlooking the pool for some reason. So what should be an exciting thing is simply a process, I can’t see their progress, I have no idea how they’re developing, only staff can watch my kids in the pool. Absolutely absurd.

Not worth the price. Joined and went to gym twice, equipment very dated, staff not very helpful. I canceled within 14 days cooling off period, yet zero refund was given. If you thinking about joining ask if you can see the place first to make up your mind.

Being a spa therapist myself highly recommend Heidi a therapist at Perth
gym. I went in January this year unfortunately should have written a review sooner, but she is extremely well qualified and knowing just how manual and tiring this job can be and how it takes it toll on the body. Heidi is by far the best massage therapist I have ever received a message from lovely person and genuinely managed to make a huge difference to my past injuries from climbing and running. She put so much effort into the massage I don't know how she still had the energy and strength to do so. Would love to have her a crieff hydro as a colleague if she reads this.

We had a back , leg and arm massage followed by a swim and used the jacuzzi. The massage was absolutely beyond what we expected. It was amazing. The staff were friendly. They put us at ease throughout. The facilities were good, very clean . Wasn’t too busy. Enjoyed the facilities . Would definitely go back. We both really enjoyed it more than we expected. Thankyou for making it special as this was a gift to us .

Absolute shocker scruffy and hot tubs are broken more than working so much I just rarely even try as my expectation of them being broken is usually right.This place spent months taking subscriptions while not having hot running showers.Staff are lovely mind.Absolute class action lawsuit waiting to happen.Will not be renewing contact when it finishes.Absolute cowboy outfit getting away with it as they are to only club with full facilities in the city.
