Cet hotel vient d'être repris par un nouveau propriétaire Ces gens sont charmants , serviables ( de plus parlent français)||Ce propriétaire envisage une rénovation complète et je leur souhaite plein succès||Pour l'instant disons que les chambres sont très propres mais minuscules ( c'est ce qui va être modifié)||Le parking voiture privé est disponible , ce qui dans le coin est précieux||La vue sur la baie est excellente||Pour l'instant n'est disponible que le petit déjeuner , parfait et généreux

We had a fantastic night, bedroom was spotless, lovely big balcony & bedroom. We had a great nights sleep. View from room was amazing & a lovely beach across the road along with a headland walk. The hotel is a lovely 15 minute walk from the centre of Newquay. We had dinner in the hotel, service was so good & food was delicious. Breakfast was included & again very tasty. We will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful property. I had one night booked for "Waves", a beach view room and the remainder of my nights were in a budget room on the ground floor: garden view. Both rooms were very comfortable and clean; however, if available I think in future I would opt for the sea view. The view is tremendous and the room has a very large deck with sun chairs facing the shore. The breakfasts were amazing and the dinner was delicious with quite a varied menu. Staff was friendly and owner was always around checking on things. Response to email inquiries was speedy. The coastal path is just across the street. There is also a bus stop within 2 minutes of the hotel that can take you into Newquay or in the other direction for any number of walks along the coast. I found the bus service to be very dependable and it enabled me to do a number of segments of the path I had hoped to walk. This is a perfect lodging choice if you do not have a car. I did take a prebooked taxi from the airport to the hotel and at the end of the stay I took a prebooked taxi up to Boscastle. It was all very easy to coordinate. I would definitely book ahead if you need a taxi transfer.

We took a chance and walked into the hotel to get dinner . We were greeted by the waitress who sat us to a table . My partner order a brandy and port due to having a bad stomach, but when it arrived we were very disappointed with the portion size. It clear the measures were reduced but we were told it was an exceptionally large glass and ‘it is what it is’ . My Prosecco was only half filled which was supposed to be a 175ml portion. To say the least we were very disappointed in the attitude of the waitress and the fact we were charged £20 for the drinks when it was clear were given inadequate measures. We were prepared to stay for dinner and have a few more drinks afterwards however , due to the above we decided to leave early. Will not return here would advise others as to the same.

Wow what a find. Such a gorgeous hotel, fantastic energy and the food was so lovely. The unique touches from the health smoothie shot at breakfast, local pasties….just fabulous. Will defo book next year.

We stayed at the Porth Beach Hotel for a two night weekend break. On arrival, the welcome we received from the owner was fantastic, who made us ‘feel at home’ straight away. Our room was immaculately presented with a tv, fully stocked mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. We stayed in an ocean facing room with a balcony, from which the views of Porth Beach were truly stunning.|The breakfast and evening meals were superb, with a wide range of choice and of an excellent quality.|All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.|A superb family run hotel, would highly recommend. |Will we return? of course we will!

Wow. What a place. We will be returning to this knock out establishment. Room was clean and catered for our every need, the service by all was first class and the breakfast was good enough to keep you going all day, if your heading to Cornwall I would highly recommend this Hotel.Brilliant.
